Shell Wyoming Rug Hooking Day

Last week a few of us met in Shell Wyoming to hook for the day. It was the perfect day to hook inside with friends. It rained the whole day so we all felt very cozy inside the Shell Church.
Faye Schilling brought her floral to work on. Faye is such a good fit for our group. We are so blessed to have her part of the year. Her colors are wonderful!
Carol has some trees hooked in on the hillside. This rug is turning out so great!
I was almost finished with the background on my rug. I actually finished hooking last night so I can't wait to steam and bind!

Patty had finished her dog camping rug. I just can't get over how cute this rug is! Patty is so creative!

Patty went back to her sunflowers after she finished her dog camping rug. Beautiful.
Patty gave me some black walnuts which I dyed some wool with. The top piece is the original of the overdyed one below it. The next on was a natural solid the the bottom was a grey hounds tooth,

As always we had such a good time. I wish we all lived in the same town so we could hook together more often.
