Things are starting to feel more like life before Covid for our Rug Hooking Group. The Wild West Rug Hookers were going to have Cynthia Norwood at a Camp last week but because of health reasons Cynthia couldn't make it. Several of the Rug Hookers that were coming to the Camp wanted to come to Cody anyway so we had a Hook-In instead. It was so wonderful being in a group again!
I had all my soaps, candles, oils, and salves for sale while others brought frames to sell, hooks made by Craig Pearson, patterns we knew we would never get around to hooking, frame covers, and wool. For such short notice it turned out to be a very successful event. We are actually going to talk about having it once a year!
Top left is Sylvia Gauthier, Hit and miss is Debra Inglis, Gnome Santa is Barb Hagler, Floral is Barb Pearson.
This rug by Peg Carpenter is even more stunning in real life.
Debra Inglis did the Hit and Miss, and the deer for a Challenge created by Catherine Butterick. The rugs everyone did for the Challenge will be in the next ATHA Magazine. Debra did the proddy edge Christmas pillow and Craig Pearson did the funky chickens.
The top floral was hooked by Barb Pearson and the bottom rug was hooked by Craig Pearson. They use fine cut and hook perfectly.
Santa Gnome is by Barb Hagler and the Sheep Patriotic Santa is by Jan Barnett. It was her second rug.
This lovely proddy pillow is by Barb Pearson. It has always been a favorite of mine.
Here again are the two from Debra Inglis. I may just have to hook the deer.
And this one is from Patty Tyrrell.
